Break the flow into decisions
A Web3 application can place browsing, connection, message signatures, approvals, and transactions close together. A smooth interface does not make them the same action. Before continuing, identify which decision is in front of you and what information the wallet provides about its consequences.
DroidWallet is an educational website and a proposed wallet design. There is no account connection, signature request, token scanner, swap, or transaction function here. Every page can be read without a wallet.
Connection establishes context
Connecting an account can allow a site to see an address and request interactions. That does not mean every later prompt should be accepted. Verify the site independently and continue reviewing new requests, especially after a network change or unexpected error.
Ethereum’s wallet overview explains the role of wallet interfaces in account interactions. Use the actual product’s documentation for its specific connection model and supported actions.
Signatures require understandable purpose
A message without a visible network fee is not automatically harmless. Read what the message authorizes and whether that purpose matches your intention. “Just sign in” is not enough when the wallet cannot provide clear context for the request.
A useful practice rule is to describe the action in ordinary language before proceeding. When the explanation is incomplete, stop at learning rather than discovering the meaning through an irreversible action.
Approvals define a spending relationship
In common token workflows, an approval allows a specified spender to move a token within a defined scope. MetaMask’s approval explanation describes that mechanism. Disconnecting a site is not the same operation as changing an on-chain allowance.
Read our token-approval article to separate spender, token, account, network, and scope. It is a review framework, not a revocation service.
Cost is not a safety rating
A low fee does not establish that the destination is legitimate or the permission is appropriate. Read the action first, then the cost context. Our Ethereum gas guide explains estimates without treating them as an endorsement of the request.
Learn without handing over access
Use the security guides and wallet-comparison framework to ask better questions. Never enter recovery information on a site that claims it must validate or synchronize an account before you can read ordinary educational content.
